Leo Bassi, (New York, 1952) is an Italian comic and actor. He comes from a six-generations Italian family dedicated to the Circus life, where he started performing at age of seven.
His style and satiric themes has made him famous. A controversial character due to his critics to right politics and religion, specially the catholic church.
On more than one occasion his shows has been canceled because of bomb threats (2006 and 2008).
His show 'Utopia' begins with a critic to politic corruption and bank abuses, deals with European history since the First World War and also the story of the White Clown, a figure represented as well by his grand father.
